Carelon Wellbeing is an employee assistance program (EAP) which is a work-based intervention program designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting their performance.

Every Monday, Rick sat at his desk feeling overwhelmed—productivity down, emotions bottled up. He knew his company offered mental health support, but navigating the platform felt like filing taxes in a language he didn’t speak.

This wasn't just a design bug. It was an emotional barrier.

In a world increasingly aware of mental health, Carelon wanted to reimagine how employees accessed support.

Hence we needed to Design a trustworthy, emotionally intelligent digital space that feels more like a helping hand than a help desk.
